The stand-in
When she's away, her matchmaker stays.
Rehearsal until eight. A flight. A week with family. When one of you steps out, their matchmaker holds the thread — always named, never pretending — sharing only what its person agreed to share.
It knows where the line is. Ask it something only she should answer, and it will tell you to save the question for her.
She reads everything when she's back. The thread is hers, always.

Some things need a voice.
Send the thing you'd never manage to type. And when hers lands somewhere you can't press play, tap See in text and read it back, word for word.
Tone survives. The pause before the answer, the laugh in the middle of the sentence — it all arrives.
Respond from memories
Answer in your own voice — with the part you'd have forgotten.
Some replies you'd write in a second. Some sit in the box for an hour. Tap once and your matchmaker writes one back to you: built out of what you've already told it, and phrased the way you actually write — a voice learned only from messages you really sent.
Ask for it longer, shorter, or with more detail, then drop it into your box and change whatever you like. It never sends anything for you — the words leave only when you press send.
It can only reach for what you marked shareable. The things you asked it to keep private are not on the table — a draft can't quote what you never agreed to hand over.
Never stale
Every message rewrites
what it suggests next.
Nothing here is generated once and left to go stale. The moment either of you says something new, what the matchmaker offers you is built again from the thread as it stands — answering what was just said, not what you were talking about yesterday.
The draft
Written off the last few messages, every single time you ask. Reply, and the next one is different — because the conversation is.
What it noticed
The small observations on her profile keep arriving as you talk. New ones carry a mark so you can see what's changed since you last looked.
What to ask her
The questions move with you. Cover something, and it stops suggesting it — and starts suggesting what that opened up.
When you both say yes
It reads you two back to you.
